More Than A Great Day in America.......

I just had to publish this post again trusting that we will be able to not lose hope no matter what the left does.

Tomorrow is my granddaughter's eighth birthday.  I have some hope now that she can grow up in a free America just like I did.  Bless her little heart, she was born the day Obama was inaugurated, so that.....person has been president every day of her life.  That changed today.  She has a new President, President Donald Trump. That moment finally came today.   the day millions of Americans have been waiting for.  At precisely 12:00 noon, Donald Trump took the oath of office as our 45th President.  It came off perfectly, just like every one that had proceeded it.  Why not?  This is America.  But of course, we could not get past the sick story CNN ran yesterday about what would happen if President Trump was assassinated just as he was taking the oath of office.  It's true, click on the link to see for yourself.

In spite of the Spirit of hope and Conservativism that hung heavy, not only in Washington D.C. but all across America, there we the usual dissenters.  A few blocks away thugs and anarchists burned, destroyed and looted personal and real property.  Not unlike them, the liberal press was hard at work demonizing President Trump.

The conservative news LifeZette,  was quick to point out comments from the likes of a Salon writer, referring to Trump's supporters, "They made a decision that loyalty to whiteness took precedence to a shared sense of humanity and the common good; "Therefore they almost deserve to suffer", And so, that is free speech in America. The article went on to say " The butcher's bill has come due: their President is about to victimize his own voters." What, who is this guy, where is he?  It's unbelievable that an entity that holds themselves out as a news outlet could print and publish such garbage.

We should not be surprised.  Remember Election night?  The same old left-wing wrinkle-faced icons of the so-called mainstream, so-called journalists, (I would never call them reporters because they are nothing more than left-wing cattle herders) the likes of Matt Lauer, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and it goes on, and on and on.

Now that we've gotten hold of the reins in Washington I'd like to give you some links to media, both left and right.  While I don't entirely agree with this, it is a place to start and watch if you do not already.

A lot of conservative leaders, and I agree with them,  believe that the only really reliable news sources are Rush Limbaugh, The Drudge Report, and The Washington Times.  I would like to add a couple of my own favorites, Mark Levin, and Townhall.com.

Our mission of taking our country back was accomplished today.  There will be some rough spots in the road.  I firmly believe, however, that the opposition has now me a giant in President Donald J. Trump.  Let us all pray that God will bless, guide and protect him.

Check back with me often as I hope to write more posts with information that you can use.In March 2017, I hope to have my full-fledged website rolled out with daily news and updates.

America's Great Change

A Few weeks ago, America put Donald Trump in the Oval Office and what a change it has made

Despite everything the establishment, both Republican and Democrat, could do, they could not keep Donald Trump out of the oval office.  I will not give a full recap in this edition of the blog, there's too much to say all in a few posts.

Beginning with that, now famous, descent from the escalator at Trump Tower to announce his candidacy for the presidency--every day, every moment--through all those months on the campaign trail, in both the primary and general election, Donald Trump was laughed at, scoffed at, facing ugly crowds that hated him, he did the one thing he has and will always do; never give up.

It seemed like Christmas at our home.  We gathered early, long before the polls closed, and stayed late until about 5:00 A.M.   I'm 60 years old now and I've been following politics every day of my life since I was old enough to know what it was all about.  How else could our family be? My seventh generation grandfather was with George Washington at Valley Forge--I come from a long line of American Patriots.

As the hands of the clock slowly turned on election night, we had our ups and downs, but as you all know it was mostly ups.  Democrat Hillary Clinton never got in the game as state by state was called by Fox News.  You could tell even they were surprised.  Remember how, over and over  we were so solemnly told by all the news media, "Donald Trump just has "no path" to 270 electoral votes"?  Well, how about that--over a two to three hour period--they slowly began to realize that their champion, Hillary Clinton, was the on who had "no path" to 270 electoral votes"?  Then at last, the teary-eyed media talking heads of the  press at approximately 2:50 A.M. the morning after the election where they finally had to say it; "Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States".

Lawlessness and Murder of Dallas Police Officers in the Streets

Lawlessness and Murder of Dallas Police Officers in the Streets

Watching the terrible situation in Dallas, Texas.  Currently news reports say that ten or more police officers have been shot and three are dead (Update: Four officers are now reported dead).  Protesters were in the streets.  The protest was reportedly started by people protesting two black men being shot dead by police over the last two days.

Fox News is reporting that snipers began to fire on police officers.  One sniper has been "neutralized", and that there may be other shooters. Snipers with rifles were in place awaiting the arrival of police responding to the protests. These snipers were apparently hidden, were wearing camouflage clothing and bullet proof vests and were armed with high-powered rifles with the intent to shoot police officers as they arrived .

This situation tonight is just one more sign of how much trouble our nation is really in.  I've never seen our nation more divided than it is right now.  It seems like almost every day we see something stranger than the day before.  We need to pray for our nation and pray that God will bless our nation, realizing that we have nationally turned our backs on Him.

Police Officers Attacked in Dallas

AMERICAN SNIPERS SHOOT DOWN OUR OWN POLICE OFFICERS

Obama, Clinton and the American Left

This is not a vast right wing conspiracy

The Middle East Heats Up

One can hardly keep up with the news coming out of the Middle East these days. One thing stands out though. Everyone wants Israel to give up more land, the chief of which is our president.

Everyone seems to think that if Israel will just give up a little more land, then peace in the region can come about. That's ludicrous. The Arabs don't want peace with Israel, they want to wipe out Israel.

Regardless, it seems that the simmering pot in the Middle East is quickly coming to a boil. I believe military conflict is likely this summer. Let's continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the Bible commands while we keep a sharp eye turned to that region, and as always, keep looking up.

It's Politics Time In East Tennessee

Wednesday, February 10, 2010
The snow is getting deep here in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. I'm at work today, but Sevier County Schools are closed.

This is the kind of day for some good old talk about politics. The snow is getting deeper and deeper by the day in DC; at least it's keeping the democrats from screwing us even more, so keep on snowing! I hear that it is so deep that Obama can't even get out of the White House. Although I look forward to the time three years from now that he's out of there for good, we need him back out on the street today spouting his juvenile agenda.

Our local election will be gearing up here in Sevier County, with only eight days left to file a qualifying petition. Yes, I'll have mine turned in in plenty of time. Thank all of you for your phone calls and your kind words of support. I'll be hitting the campaign trail soon and I will be calling you to accept your gracious offers to work for my re-election. It's going to be a great year. Thank you all, and may God bless you.

Obama Another Jimmy Carter

After the presidential elected in November, I predicted that Barak Obama would be another Jimmy Carter. I believed then, and still do today that Obama would be a one term president.

Obama made promises during the campaign that would be impossible deliver once in office. Sure, some promises could be fulfilled with the stroke of his pen, but major issues are a different story.

Obama made promises about the economy without having a clue how to fix it. If you watch him closely you'll see that he and his spokesman, almost daily, trying to bring down expectations about promises made on the campaign trail. His slogan, "Yes we can" is still being shouted by his blind followers, but is likely to quickly become, "No we can't" or "Well, we can't right now". The most probable alteration Obama will be able to change his slogan to is, "Yes, maybe we can".

Many of Obama's promises on the campaign trail take us back to the promises and abject failure of Jimmy Carter. Carter knew he could not deliver on his promises and so doesBarak Obama. As bad as Carter was, Obama is worse. Obama just opened his mouth and let the promises flow. He was so determined to be President that he knew he had to lie to the American people.

I regret to say that all of us in America will soon see what a liar he is, and what a failure he is going to be as President. Our nation, and the whole world will soon realize that his "mystical charm" won't be worth much to him as the current occupant of the Oval Office. He is now the President of the United States, and he will quickly see that the real world is quite different from the feel-good, ego-pleasing world of the campaign trail.

The British newspaper Times Online spells it out quite well.

May God bless America.

Obama chooses Arab network for first TV interview

Well, this has to cap the stack! Will someone pinch me so I'll know I'm dreaming?

Try this Obama quote on for size. ""My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama told the Saudi-owned, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel. First of all, I didn't know he had a "job to the Muslim world". If this idiot has a "job to" anyone, wouldn't it be to the United States? And if America is not radical Islam's enemy, then who is?

I'm providing links below to the AP News story, and then to the actual interview transcript. I hope you've got a strong stomach.

And finally, Chris Matthews, is something "tingling up your leg" right now? This is a link to AP where you can get an overview of his interview:

Obamas Inauguration--A Day That Should Live on in Infamy!

Obamas Inauguration--A Day That Should Live on in Infamy!

If yesterday wasn't hard enough on we conservatives, today isn't much better. I expect this kind of silly coverages by ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, but not Fox News. I know what Juan Williams is, but please, you let him cry out a statement about the Rev.(his title-not mine) Lowery's prayer. That prayer is what Rush called an insult to America.

How many conservatives are furious this morning about some of the outrageous things that happened yesterday? If yesterday's events cannot unite conservatives, then we might as well fold the tent.

President George Bush has performed remarkably during the transition. Even some in the liberal media have praised his actions as being unequaled in the graciousness of an outgoing President toward the incoming one. President Bush is an honorable man and it has never shown more than yesterday. Even after all the insults and barbarous action of Obama supporters on the steps of the capitol yesterday, President Bush, on arriving in Midland, Texas, at the end of a long day, called Obama "a good man". You're a better man that I Mr. President. I applaud you grace and refinement.

I am incensed at what took place yesterday at the inauguration. How could any decent American citizen participate in what was done to President Bush and his family Vice-President Cheney and his family, not to mention that it was also an insult to the entire nation. Well, apparently, there were plenty of people who crawled out of their pathetic ditch and tried to embarrass the President, Vice-President, the U.S. Military, of which President Bush was still the commander-in-chief, and all other decent Americans.

I hope people are already aware of what took place there yesterday. When President Bush arrived at the platform many of Obama's supporters loudly booed the President and his party. Vice-President Cheney, attending the inaugural in a wheel chair was booed and actually laughed at by this Obama trash. Many of Obama's "decent Americans" sang the juvenile, Na, na, na, na, Na, na, na, na, hey, hey, good-bye." I have never witnessed, and hope I never do again, this type of behavior on a world stage. Obama's supporters who participated in this are a disgrace, but you know what is worse? Obama's silence. Obama never said a word in defense of the outgoing administration, nor did he criticize this pitiable behavior. He had plenty of opportunity to repudiate this wretched behavior either before, during or after his address, which had already been labeled by the liberal media as words that "would be chiseled in marble". Mr. Obama, you were identified to the American people and the world as a man who is small, self-centered, and still consumed with hate for President Bush and the millions and millions of people around the world who recognize that President Bush is an honorable, cultured, and principled man.

As this deplorable action, which Obama participated in by his silence, is blogged around the earth, it is my hope that you, you who agree that this was an absolutely unacceptable attack on an American hero, will repeat it every where you go. I pray that you will take this debate to anyone who will listen, and I pray that decent individuals in the media, will take up the story and see that everyone on earth knows that America does not treat its leaders this way--especially leaders who have devoted themselves to protecting all the citizens of not only America, but all of the world from radical haters, the kind of haters which got their start doing the same thing these people did yesterday. God, protect America from her enemies, including the ones who crawled up out of their misery yesterday, long enough to embarrass our beloved country.

Newt, Newt, Newt! Have we lost you, son?

Well, Newt has lost his pea-picking mind. An article by Newt about the Obama Coronation on Human Events is jarring.
The Title of Newt's Article is:
Taking President Obama At His Word
by Newt Gingrich
Here are my comments and questions to Newt. A link to his article follows my short comment.

Newt, Newt, Newt. Have you lost your mind my friend? I've followed you since the GOPAC days, and this is the craziest thing I've ever heard you say.

I don't care if there were 18 cod-zillion people on the mall that day, you're talking about the coronation of King Obama who wants to allow America to murder more babies that we are already murdering. You're placing, in a positive light, an event that heralds the demise of the family, the military, our security, and the loosing of the worst terrorists in the world from Gitmo.

Even as I write this I am realizing that you must surely be under a doctor's care. Where's the old Newt? Has he gone the way of Johnny McCain? Spend some of that genius you possess helping us figure out how to beat him in three years, not welcoming him to the throne.

The Tomb

Ignoring the disagreement many folks have about the day of the week that Jesus was crucified and the day of the week when He arose from the dead, I think it is appropriate to mention today, that on this second day, Jesus' body is in the tomb. This second day, between the crucifixion and the resurrection cannot be without significance.

The cruel death on the cross that Jesus suffered, the burial in a borrowed tomb, and the glorious resurrection is sufficient to provide the only way that we can escape the punishment for our sins. Christians and others ponder the crucifixion and the resurrection which took place at the end of what is sometimes referred to as "Holy Week", and rightly so, but do we ponder the day he was in the tomb? Do we consider that there must be a reason the God-Man deemed it so?

Clearly Jesus could have come alive again in their presence after he was pronounced dead on the cross. Certainly he could have come down off the cross alive and with power. But he didn't do that. He allowed his dead body to be prepared for burial in the manner of the custom of that day. He allowed his body to be placed in that dark, cold, borrowed hole in the side of a mountain of rock, and he allowed the stone to be rolled into place, blocking the entrance.

Today, as we go about our routine, as we prepare for The Resurrection Morning, let's think about the second day of Jesus' sacrifice. That hole in the mountain of rock stayed closed for the entire day. One thing is for certain. It stayed closed and dark because Jesus wanted it to be so. Lord Jesus, thank you for loving us so much.

God Bless America's Soldiers

This Memorial Day I've been thinking about Americans who have served their country in all of our past wars. The American Soldier has sacrificed tremendously down through the history of our nation.

Few of us today stop and think about the history of our nation. Actually, it's hard for many Americans to think about the role the American Soldier has played in the history of our nation, because of the revisionist history that is now being taught in our schools.

I wish all Americans could pause this Memorial Day to think of the sacrifices American soldiers have made so that we can have our freedom. I am writing at this forum and you are reading it thanks to America's soldiers. Yesterday, as you entered your place of worship, no one stopped you at the door and sent you away. No one is searching Americans' homes today without a warrant, and next year, we will chose our national leaders at the voting booth--all thanks to the American soldier.

I wish we could all stop and mull, for a short time, some of the sacrifices of these men. If you haven't given it thought lately, think of these men, and women for a moment, in the context of which they struggled.

In the American Revolution, men served in a war where they were often deprived of food, clothing, and weapons. They were separated from their families and faced hard winters in encampments throughout the colonies. These soldiers, few in number, were taking on the might of Great Britain, the largest military organization on the face of the earth.

During the American Civil War approximately 650,000 men died during the five years of war. Soldiers in this war, particularly Southern, also faced deprivation in many forms. They fought on, day after day, without food, proper clothing and munitions. Soldiers on both sides were separated from family, home, their normal way of life. (I am not addressing the cause of the war, but simply the sacrifice of the soldiers).

The wars of the 20th Century, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Middle East Wars and the current War on Terror are replete with sacrifices by the American soldier.

Let's pause sometime during this Memorial Day to remember the American Soldier. He has always been willing to fight. He has always endured hardships. He has always been willing to die for you and me. His sacrifice should never be forgotten.
